About Musical Life Lessons

Musical Life Lessons are practical, fun and easy songs that help children learn important life lessons in a musical, inspiring way.

All the songs are written or co-written by Martha Hall Bowman.

“Character lessons in music that clearly lighten, brighten and educate the heart and soul"

 — Dr. Mark Shelton, Harvard University

“The light folk rock sound on Musical Life Lessons draws you in with catchy phrases and snappy lyrics that make it easy to sing along and to remember. These refreshing Musical Life Lessons are great learning tools for children of all ages. And some of us adults can be reminded of these lessons, too, as we sing along.  Teaching children about loving themselves and their neighbors, and celebrating our differences… that is where this album shines. I give it three thumbs up!”
-Liz Kelly, radio personality
